you should try top speed behind the bike, so wind resistance plays a real life factor

Errr…. A Suzuki SV650 with abs breaks, new technology and uncontested reliability is only a few thousand more than these shit scooters.

80 mph? I think these scooters should be modded more on acceleration than top speed… My old 170cc was tuned with MRP parts and it accelerated really hard. I have a 250cc liquid-cooled scooter… has a top speed of around 90-mph, but a 155cc MRP-based scooter kept with me until the 65 mph mark.

Typically 90 is the top of the speedo on 150cc scooters and 50 on the 50cc scooters. Look aorund on youtube for malossi 172cc scooters and you will find many 100mph plus scooters

I’m not that impressed with only 80 mph from a 150cc scooter heavily modified to 200cc? My 125cc Peugeot Satelis achieves close to that (110-115 kph / roughly 70 mph) without any modifications whatsoever. However, build easy-to-install modification options to increase the performance of my scooter and you’ll have an instant customer.
